Beschreibung:

The lecture & discussion will try to shed light on the significance and opportunities that lie within the social entrepreneurship sector. In social entrepreneurship, it is the understanding that generating profit and doing good and bringing about societal change to the better are not mutually exclusive but rather go hand in hand, especially for an enterprise to be sustainable.

Dr. R. Eric Staley has led or counseled more than 100 organizations - arts associations, social service agencies, colleges and universities, for-profit corporations with giving and sponsorship programs. He is certified in social entrepreneurship by the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

The lecture will support and promote entrepreneurs who seek to sustainably provide social and environmentally acceptable goods.
